Menges Ancestor Code Table
The Menges Ancestor Code Table
was developed as a way to clearly identify each immigrant during
the 18th and 19th centuries bearing the "Menges" name.
The wife of each male immigrant uses his code followed by a "W".
For example, Johann Conrad Menges arrived in 1754; he is assigned
the code "F" and his wife uses "FW".
