War of 1812 (1812-1814)

England and the new United States of America were still learning what their relationship would be. Many in the US could not understand why the Canadian colonies did not join them, and did not like the idea that the English still held territory to the north.

Conrad MINGOS (1777-1863) served but was replaced by his son Peter MINGUS when he (Conrad) fell ill.
