United Kingdom

While I my heritage is half Irish (or slightly more so) a significant number of family lines came from the England and Wales in the United Kingdom. Yes, I realize Ireland was part of the UK for a very long time but it isn't now. So far I haven't found any ancestors from Scotland or Northern Ireland.

Many of my English lines never, to my knowledge, left England. The MERRILL and WHITBREAD family lines, for example, that married into the SPENCERs of Edworth and Stotfold.
