Bradford County, Pennsylvania
Originally called Ontario County in 1810, the
state legislature officially established "Bradford" County
from land belonging to Luzerne and Lycoming counties in an area
around the North Branch of the Susquehanna River in 1812.
Bradford County is composed of land that had also been claimed
by Connecticut.
Key towns or communities in my research include Burlington, Monroe,
Liberty Corners, Sayre, Standing Stone, Towanda, and Wysox.
