Barclay Township did not exist until 1867 and was folder back into Franklin
Township in 1959.
Stevens Township was formed from Pike about 1926.
Terry Township was created about 1857 from Asylum, Durrell, and Wilmot
townships.
Tuscarora Township was renamed from Spring Hill about 1856.
Durrell Township was formed in 1842 from Monroe & Asylum townships but
was disbanded in the 1850s and the land distributed to Asylum,
Terry, and Wilmot townships.
