Zilpha married Michael SPENCER (1709-1793) about 1730 in RI. Zilpha and Michael had the following children:

• Theophilus SPENCER (1732-1793)

Zilpha died sometime before 1739 when Michael married her sister Abigail.

Family tradition includes a story from Henry Clay SPENCER (1844-1929) says that his great-great grandfather Michael SPENCER married a Welsh woman with red hair. We cannot tell if the story was about Zilpha or Abigail but it does give us a little more information about these women.
