Michael SPENCER was born in 1611 in Stotfold, Bedfordshire, England to Gerard SPENCER and Alice WHITBREAD. He was christened on 5 May 1611.

Michael married Isabel _____ (c1615-1674) before they emigrated in 1632. They were living in the New Towne (i.e. Cambridge) in the Massachusetts Bay Colony about 1632 and they were definitely there by 1635.

About 1637 Michael & Isabel moved to Lynne. On 19 Jan 1638, Michael was paid a legacy from his uncle Richard Spencer's London estate.

They had the following children:

• John (c1638)
• Susannah (c1643)
• Michael (c1648)

From the spread of years are are almost certainly missing children.

Michael died 6 May 1653 in Lynne, Essex Co, MA.
