Theophilus WHALEY was born about 1616 in ENGLAND. He was found in Old Rappahannock, Virginia between 1670 and 1675 when he married Elizabeth MILLS, daughter of John MILLS.

They had the following (known) children: **

• Annie WHALEY
• Theodosia WHALEY
• Elizabeth WHALEY married a Charles HAZELTON
• Lydia WHALEY married John SWEET
• Samuel WHALEY married a Miss HOPKINS
• Martha WHALEY was born about 1680 and died in 1773;
  she married (1) Joseph HOPKINS and (2) Robert SPENCER

Theophilus and Elizabeth settled near Narragansett, Rhode Island on or near the farm of Colonel Francis Willit.

He died about 1720 in West Greenwich, Kent Co, RI.
