Joseph Franklin "Frank" WILLIAMS was born 5 aug 1872 in Branchville, Frankford Twp, Sussex Co, NJ to Albert L WILLIAMS and Harriet C RUTAN.

Frank moved to Standing Stone Twp, Bradford Co, PA and married Sarah Margaret "Maggie" HUFF around March 1889. The marriage application at the Bradford County Courthouse in Towanda, Bradford Co, PA contains very little information, suggesting Maggie was well along with their son Eddie. It is also possible that the wedding took place earlier in the year but the marriage application was submitted when they could get into Towanda.

The family moved to Branchville, Sussex Co, NJ for a time before moving back to Bradford County again. Frank was listed as a day laborer in the 1900 census.

Frank was a blacksmith in 1908 while the family was living in Wysox Twp, Bradford Co, PA.

Frank died died in Wysox Twp, Bradford Co, PA on 15 Oct 1908 about 3am after suffering an attack of "acute gastrictis" over a period of 14 days. The doctor, Charles Rood, indicated a contributing factor was "excessive use of stimulants" over a 1 year period but does not indicate what that stimulant was.

Frank is buried with his wife in the Wysox Presbyterian Cemetery, Wysox Twp, Bradford Co, PA.
